A World Of Differents
As the month of December brings the year to an end, we pause and reflect. As is often the case, our thoughts and feelings turn to the abundance of extraordinary people in our life. So many different souls, living so many different ways, in so many different places...and, we believe, all with a few common values that make a world of difference at a time when our world needs these differences more than ever.

We believe that it's a pretty good bet that if you are reading this now, you are one of many who care enough about the quality of your life, and the life and environment around you, to stand forward and make a positive contribution. We see you when you take the time to come to The Haven; we hear from you when you contact us; we hear about you through someone you have connected with; we feel the strength, warmth, caring and courage you offer. And we are excited about the world of difference that is clearer, and stronger, than ever.

In coming Updates there will be time to tell you about the news, events and people who contribute to the living spirit of The Haven. For now, we just want to thank you...all of you, each of you, for being your part of a positive and significant contribution to all of our lives. Your heart and compassion; your willingness to look at who you are, and be interested in who the rest of us are; your speaking up and your listening, are all gifts that make a difference, simply by being.

Until next time, we wish you good conversations, quiet pauses, big laughs, small grins, the unexpected, and just what you wanted, warm toes, and hot chocolate...in all your favourite, different, ways.

And we wish all this and more, with loving, from all of us, to all of you. There is always a chair waiting on the front lawn for you...
