Upon successful completion of the Basic Counselling Skills requirements, the student may apply for admission to the Certificate program, by submitting an application form to the Registrar and requesting interview with the Director of Education. The application/registration fee is $150.
Students accepted into the Certificate program will participate in required and elective courses and begin interning in core programs, working with group leaders to plan and run the group. Interns receive supervision and support from the training faculty and the Director of Education. At all times their work in the group holds the needs of the participants as primary. Graduation from this program requires not only the completion of specified course and electives, but also demonstrated ability to work in a team setting, and to act in an ethical manner with fellow students, participants and Haven Institute staff and faculty.

Upon completion of the requirements of the Certificate in Haven Counselling Skills, the student may apply to enter one of the Diploma programs. The student fills out an application form, and is interviewed by the Director of Education. The application/registration fee is $150.
