Carole Ames BES, DipC, MTC  is dynamic, compassionate and direct. With an Bachelors Degree in Planning, and membership in the Canadian Institute of Planners, she worked for over 10 years in communities across Canada including Yellowknife where she was the Director of Planning at the age of 28. Gradually her interest shifted to the behaviour and dynamics of people, and she began working in the field of human relations including 6 years with the Vancouver Crisis Centre. Later she took on a key management role at The Haven while completing her studies for a Masters Degree in Counselling.

Carole is happy to say that she has survived a career spanning professional planning, government and business management, and human relations, all with her creativity and sense of humour intact! This is invaluable in her professional work, as well in her primary relationship of six years and in another current passion - theatre acting and directing.

Carole offers facilitating, counselling and training services through her consulting firm, Creative Pursuits.
