David Raithby
David Raithby DipC, MEd, RSW
uses an approach described as 'vibrant', and is known for his sensitive, strong and dynamic work. David began his career in family, youth and critical care settings, and is recognized for his work in the field of personal and professional development over the last 30 years. A long-standing member of The Haven Faculty and Board of Directors, David teaches numerous courses with his life-partner of 25 years, Sandey McCartney, and friend Linda Nicholls.
David and Sandey have been life-partners for twenty-three years, sharing a family, a private practice, and a vision of “expanding possibilities for full and courageous engagement in living. They recently completed Living With Passion, the second book in Haven’s Bookabout series.
David and Linda have collaborated for ten years in developing an approach to learning that is grounded in self-responsibility, compassionate relating, and energetic engagement.
