Lee Pulos
Lee Pulos PhD
earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver, following which he
held clinical appointments at the Universities of Indiana and Wisconsin. After entering private practice in
Vancouver, he was appointed clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, University of British
Columbia where he has just been appointed Clinical Assistant Professor Emeritus. He was awarded a
Diplomate in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology in 1966. He has served as
Sports Psychologist for Team Canada at the Commonwealth Games and worked with a number of Olympic
and professional athletes. He is a certified trainer for Thought Field Therapy.
Besides publishing many articles for scientific journals, he has written two books, Miracles and Other Realities
and Beyond Hypnosis (Omega Press 1991). His self-help audio tape products are distributed in bookstores
across North America by his company "Adventures In Learning Inc." In the past, as a business-man and
entrepreneur, he and his brothers created the hugely successful Old Spaghetti Factory restaurant chain.
