Lyle Povah

Lyle Povah   Photo is a percussionist/singer/guitarist, educator and children's entertainer with a special interest in African drumming. He has performed and studied worldwide and regularly presents at international conferences on various topics related to health and creativity. Lyle has shared music with children at B.C.'s Children's Hospital one day a week for 15 years and leads the longest running weekly drop-in Community Drum Circle in Vancouver. For the past 6 years, he has worked with the UBC Sauder School of Business, leading manager training and executive development programs.

Lyle's diverse music career includes touring, writing, recording, teaching and leading rhythm based events throughout North America. He studied drumming and rhythm for four months in Ghana, West Africa and has a private practice in sound therapy in Vancouver, British Columbia.
