Body, Breath and Energy Training
|
Course for all who desire to:
- increase the depth, range and impact of your work with people
- encounter core feelings, beliefs, memories and behaviour patterns as they are held
in the body
- learn to facilitate a shift from being 'stuck' to engaging life more openly
- become more aware of and utilize 'transformative moments'
- develop and learn to use your own intuition, creativity and presence
|
Description
This training establishes a solid foundation in the concepts and techniques of bodywork
and energy release work. From this basis we demonstrate and encourage creative exploration of
personal issues through a variety of energetic and expressive approaches. Effective processing of
emotional and psychological material that arises from the work is integrated throughout.
Format
In a group setting, the leaders present a variety of concepts, skills and techniques. Energetic
exercises, activities and approaches are offered in a climate of experiential learning. Supervised
practice, small and large group discussion, and personal work deepen the experience. Immediate
feedback both as the 'subject' and as the 'practitioner' provide a rare and appreciated opportunity for
learning.

Testimonials
"I really came to appreciate the healing and grounding power of breathing. I've made a practice of taking a couple hours each week, to breathe and get into my body, and let myself release the stress and tensions I find. I find I'm calmer and more at peace with myself."
February 2007
"I have taken Body, Breath & Energy before, and will probably take it again sometime. There is always another layer to explore and more to learn. I like new things that David and Linda have added since 2004."
