Course Descriptions

Description:
This is the second part of two courses designed for parent or guardians of adolescent children. It follows Parent Time. Qualities of being steadfast parents, a stable and consistent presence in the developing and changing life of adolescent children, is emphasized. There is also further development of communication and boundary skills and more individually focussed time to address specific personal and relationship issues. The course is "responsive" to allow for additional content that may vary according to group concerns and interests. See dates for Parent Time under separate listing.

Course Evaluation:
A student/participant who attends a minimum of 90% of the total course sessions shall receive a "Pass" grade. A student/participant who is absent for more than 10% of the session will receive an "Incomplete" grade and credit will not be granted.
