Horse Wisdom

Humans and horses have been companions and workmates for thousands of years. Their spiritual nature is reflected in their representation in myth and legend throughout time.

Now seldom used for work, horses are working on us. Their natural instincts allow us to learn from “the wisdom of the prey”. An animal that lives in the present moment and can read our inner state and intention instantly, horses are wonderful teachers. They command respect with their noble size, and yet will be a gentle forgiving partner to a person in search of their authentic self.

Horse Wisdom is an opportunity to develop congruence and to open your heart in a series of carefully designed experiences with the Generation Farms herd. You can expect to leave feeling more yourself, in touch with your body, and aware of others in a whole new way.

No previous horse experience is necessary. All work will be unmounted and you can choose your level of horse contact.

Testimonial:
"This course provided a different setting and approach to dealing with some familiar patterns and issues."
August 2007

"What did I like most about this course? Small group of people I knew; BEING OUTDOORS; being with horses; taking the ferry over…; nature of course meant we interspersed sitting with activity... I enjoyed a new way of learning about myself - by being with the horses and watching my perceptions, judgments, interaction, feelings, projections. Rich way to embellish my Haven learnings."
