Career Revisioning

"All paths are the same: they lead nowhere. ...Ask yourself, and yourself alone, one question. Does this path have heart? ...If it does, the path is good; if it does not it is of no use."
Don Juan Matus to Carlos Castaneda

Is your employment what you would envision for yourself?

In this three-day course I invite you to experience the personal satisfaction of discovering your unique career path and beginning to live your dream.
  • take stock of your life accomplishments, personal qualities, and transferable skills
  • identify values and passions
  • determine whether your present career offers unexplored potential to express these values
  • brainstorm new or enhanced career directions
  • confirm whether or not the quiet career yearning you feel inside deserves attention
  • investigate the steps required to bring your dreams to fruition
  • rediscover the attractions and delights of childhood pursuits in adult career options
Bring nine objects with you that represent your hobbies, interests and passions and a piece of material on which to display them.

"Love and work are the cornerstones of our humanness"
Sigmund Freud

Testimonials:
"I came away from this course with a much stronger sense about what I wanted to do with the rest of my life - both at work and at home."
April 2008

"The approaches used were varied and the facilitation was done with kindness and ease. Our group was small and I also liked that. I think I was very tired and needed a break and I appreciated the gentleness of the weekend. My favourite activity was making the collage and I'm so glad I have it to look at and remind me of the course. It was an effective culminating activity."
April 2007

"The exercises and experiences have given me new insight into parts of myself that have been hidden for some time...my intuition and deeper knowing. This will be useful to me as I proceed on my career/dream path."
April 2007

Course Evaluation:
A student/participant who attends a minimum of 90% of the total course sessions shall receive a "Pass" grade. A student/participant who is absent for more than 10% of the session will receive an "Incomplete" grade and credit will not be granted.
